Change in São Paulo's Court System

Plataforma é utilizada pelo Tribunal Regional Federal da 4ª Região (TRF-4). Segundo o TJSP, a decisão foi tomada porque o sistema atual não pôde ser atualizado nos últimos anos por impedimentos normativos e está obsoleto.

According to Joint Communiqué No. 435/2025, published in the Electronic Judicial Gazette on June 6, 2025, the Presidency of the São Paulo Court of Justice and the General Inspectorate of Justice announce that, from June 11 to 13, 2025, there was a suspension of procedural deadlines and public service in the 1st to 5th Civil Courts of Regional Forum XI - Pinheiros, due to the implementation of the Judicial Processing Unit (UPJ)

In addition, on June 5, 2025, NOTICE No. 435/2025 was also published, establishing guidelines for the implementation of the eproc system. Highlights:

• Cases filed in the SAJ before the implementation of eproc in the district: redistribution may occur between units within the same system, while the SAJ is active. After deactivation, the following rules apply.

• Cases filed in SAJ after the implementation of eproc: automatic redistribution will not be possible; it is up to the distributor to certify and return the case files to the magistrate, who must summon the interested party to promote a new distribution in the eproc system, canceling the previous one in SAJ.

• Cases filed in eproc that require redistribution to a unit where eproc has not yet been implemented: redistribution must wait until implementation, unless the party chooses to initiate a new case in SAJ, canceling the original distribution.

• Cases redistributed from or to other courts: redistribution shall be done via digital mailbag until transfers between systems are available.

  
  

Therefore, as of August 4, 2025, with the implementation of eproc in the 1st Judicial Administrative Region (1st RAJ), the new distribution of all cases — new lawsuits, appeals, and incidents of sentence enforcement — directly in eproc becomes mandatory, since there is no possibility of automatic redistribution from SAJ to eproc.

In case of non-compliance, the case may be dismissed without resolution of the merits, pursuant to Article 484, item IV, of the CPC.

Guidelines for Lawyers:

• It is essential to register in the new eproc system.

• To do so:

  • Download the “Authenticator” app to your cell phone.

  • Use it to generate the verification code (2FA).

  • Register your personal data, including your OAB number and other information requested by the system.

  • Complete the registration and validate your access to the eproc system.
