Updates to the ITCMD/SP Declaration System

The São Paulo State Department of Finance and Planning has implemented changes to the ITCMD Declaration System.

Among the changes are the

1. possibility of attaching PDFs to public deed transmissions;

2. repositioned “Generate DARE” button for installment payments, with immediate access on the same screen;

3. in the rural property registry, the “Total Area” field is now calculated automatically;

4. all declarations (including in SIGEC) now have 9 digits;

5. the system is already prepared for alphanumeric CNPJs, to be implemented in the first half of 2026.

According to the Secretariat, the changes aim to make compliance with ITCMD-related obligations simpler and more efficient, benefiting taxpayers, inventory takers, donors, and their lawyers.
